At the meeting of the International Telecommunication Union Development Sector (ITU-D) held on April 29 – May 10, 2024, with the aim of supporting developing countries, a report on “Emergency Restoration of Communication Services in the Noto Peninsula Earthquake” was presented.
There were active discussions from countries such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Syria, Egypt, and the United States, and the disaster preparedness and response efforts contributed to support for developing countries.
