【Report from Myanmar】New Zero Village Art School News 2023 (April – June)

REPORTS FOR THREE-MONTH PERIOD

Although Myanmer is still unstable under sensitive political situation, New Zero Village Art school is running regularly as usual. We’d like to introduce their three-months reports with many nice pictures and video. This school is providing Art, Music, English, and Computer operating classes to the children from 4 to 17 years old.

It’s great to know that two or three students who are working outside for their family and their own education at a very young age comes to school on every Sunday after their works. Struggling between education and work, children are eager to pursue their dreams at New Zero.

In order to get rich in their vocabulary and pronunciation, game activities were provided in class.

Music class students were sometimes invited to play as a band at wedding ceremonies nearby villages. They are confident enough to play in front of the audience now outside the school.

Due to unstable electricity in Myanmar, we were unable to open computers most of the days. However, the computer class teacher taught students by the textbook without computers. Students had to practice on hand what they have been taught using their free time . Computer class regulated this way during these months.
