【Report from Cambodia】KDDI School News 2023 ”KDDI Learning Center” opened

In April 2023, we have opened a newly established “KDDI Learning Center” in Wat Chheu Teal Primary School. At this school, elementary and junior high school students can learn English, PC operation, typing as extracurricular lessons.

In April, the school was closed due to the Cambodian New Year event “Water Festival”. During that time, 8 desktop PCs arrived and the teachers were busy setting them up and preparing for the new school.

When school resumed and the children came to school, they were so happy and excited to see their new school and computers. “Words cannot express how happy they are.” said the teachers.

The children were learning to type for the first time and so excited that they were moving their fingers to the keyboard every day. We can almost hear the happy voices of the children all the way to Japan.
